PRS Special Portugal Historico with Blunik.

The PRS sections of the Rally Portugal hitorico consist of regularity and speed tests where the section will be divided into three segments, and although the three parts of the road will be different you have to spare the same time in each.

In the reconnaissance route is where pilot and co-pilot have to measure the road appropriately
and take reference points, as well as observe how fast you can do the section, if there are many curves, how is the path, etc.

Blunik has functions for the PRS sections.

The "PARTIAL COPY" section mode should be programmed.

In the reconnaissance route you have to take the distances A, B and C.
Then program the distances in the sector and always put the same average, which will only be useful as a reference in the first segment.

It is necessary to start the section with "FLY START", and you should press START just when you pass through the start-line.

The objective is to spare the same time in segments 2 and 3 with as you spare in the first one. So, you start the first segment an you run at the speed you decide. You can follow the one you programmed as a reference, but during the segment 1, whatever you do, would not penalize, the Blunik's indications are only for reference.

At point A you have to press START again, and now, follow the regularity indicated by the Blunik, if you can, of course! And follow the same path, to square distances!

In the PRS, who does it better and faster wins. Doing it well and slow is usually not the option of those who win, and doing it very fast can give you a bad result. It’s your choice!

PRS, speed and regularity!!!

Good luck for everyone for the next edition of Portugal Historico rally! Visit the calendar to find out the dates of the next edition.

In case of PRS in circuit and without recognition, the simplest is the best solution: put the stopwatch screen in the Blunik. I would not mess with programmation and corrections. Will be much better to take reliable notes and time /chrono of passage.

Anyway, the PRS sections are going to make you think before, during and after the rally, this is part of the regularity spirit, isn’t it?
