What is the Dakar Classic?
The Dakar Classic is a regularity and navigation rally held in parallel with the Dakar Rally every January in Saudi Arabia. Unlike the main rally, it is not about outright speed but about precision in maintaining prescribed target times. Only historic vehicles built before 2005 are eligible. The seventh edition runs from 1 to 15 January 2027.

Looking ahead to 2027
The experiences from the Dakar Classic 2026 and the feedback we received from our customers are now shaping the further development of the joint service offering. New services will be available for the Dakar Classic 2027 — details will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed.

TimeOut Racing is a Swiss-based Rally Raid Assistance specialist with on-site experience across four Dakar deployments and a 100% finisher rate among its clients. The team supports privateers at the Dakar Classic with a range of service tiers — from Bivouac Access through Dedicated Rally Assistance — accepting a maximum of five clients per event to ensure quality.
