Our selection of regularity rallies in Europe

The Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique took a major step forward in 2026: its 18 regularity stages —10 different ones, some repeated— were run for the first time on roads closed to traffic, keeping the regularity format but with a more sporting approach. The teams started from six European cities before converging in Valence and tackling the stages en route to the finish in Monaco.

The event brought together 253 teams from 28 countries and expanded eligibility to models that had taken part in the Rallye Monte-Carlo up to January 1986. Two average-speed categories, each with its own classification, completed the format.

For the 2027 edition

This time, there will be three regularity speeds to define the competition. Preparation will be key, both for the lower-average teams aiming to measure out metres with precision, and for those working with GPS repositioning and PaceNotes.
