What will the Andorra Winter Rally "Regularity Experience" be like?

Here are a few basic concepts about how the Regularity Experience of the Andorra Winter Rally 2019 will work.

WHAT "REGULARITY EXPERIENCE" (RX) is:
It's a new way to do regularity.
It's a new regularity style with the sporting spirit that values the piloting and co-piloting:

  • During the whole route.
  • Everyone has the same device in their cars.

At the technical verifications or in the parc ferme we will install a device in your car (with a suction cup mount and completelly wireless. No cables are required).

The mentioned device is a Blunik Rx. It is a device for the co-pilot. It will serve as a trip meter to follow the roadbook, and at the same time it will tell you how to follow the regularity. It is easy to use and we will provide you with instructions on how it works.

There will be no Transponders installed. The Blunik RX will be timing you during the whole stage at every moment.

The regularity indications are Blunik style -10m, -20m.... +10m, +20m, it also has a graphic display and the three LEDs. The blue LED will be your ally.

Tracing and meter corrections: Here is where there is more difference with precision regularity. You can trace wherever you want and you don't have to adjust meters during the stage. Everyone has the timing in their cars, so it is equally sportive and demanding for all.

Penalties are a bit different too. There are no positives or negatives. Nor Advance or delay in the classifications. The device that shows you the regularity also keeps a record on if you do well or not. If you do well you have 0 points, if you do not do well you get points added. You get more points the worse you do and the longer you do it. the maximum number of points are 100 every kilometer.

Whoever has less points wins.

Pilot and co-pilot have to be compenetrated to follow the regularity indications, and also drive well on the snow.

All the information will be given to you on the day of the rally, you can ask any question to the Blunik team before the start, we will be happy to help you.

Enjoy!
